NetEye, the flagship product of Würth IT Italy, is a unified monitoring system (Monitoring, ITOA, APM, SIEM & LOG Management, Service Management) that supports business operations by providing complete oversight of the health of the IT infrastructure and active services, enabling secure and reliable IT Observability.
To strengthen our Platform Engineering Team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the migration of NetEye from a traditional on‑premise architecture to a cloud‑native solution.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing Kubernetes and AWS EKS infrastructures, proven ability to design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines, and strong knowledge of GitOps methodologies and production observability.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain both on‑premise and cloud‑based Kubernetes infrastructures.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton).
Adopt GitOps methodologies for managing infrastructure and applications.
Ensure production observability through monitoring and logging.
Collaborate effectively with teams and communicate clearly.
Requirements:
Experience with cloud‑native migrations.
Experience with AWS EKS.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools (Tekton, Kargo, ArgoCD, Flux).
Proficiency with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Strong problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of EKS.
Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
RedHat OpenShift, AWS EKS, or Kubernetes certifications.
Understanding of cloud‑native security best practices.
