1.1. Event and Organization
The BeSt in Innsbruck is organized by SoWi-Holding GmbH.
The organizers are the Federal Ministry of Education, the Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research, and the Austrian Public Employment Service.
1.2. General Information
By entering the fairgrounds, all visitors acknowledge these terms and conditions of participation as well as the house rules of the venue (Messe Innsbruck) as binding.
In addition, the relevant legal provisions apply (in particular event and security laws).
1.3. Aim
The aim of the BeSt Innsbruck is to offer interested parties, students, their parents and teachers an overview of as many training and career opportunities as possible. Prospective students and students should also have the opportunity to find out about the study conditions at domestic and foreign universities and colleges, as well as about postgraduate study opportunities. The broad spectrum of adult education should be presented – limited to higher-qualified offers. Visitors should also be given the opportunity to make direct contact with companies with specific training and job offers.

The fair is primarily aimed at students and young people aged 14 and over, their parents and teachers and accompanying persons.
Younger visitors under the age of 14 may only enter the fair when accompanied by an adult supervisor.
Admission is free.
Participation is permitted exclusively for non-commercial purposes (information, career and education guidance).

Individuals can visit the fair without prior registration.
School classes and groups are asked to register in advance to enable better organization and planning; however, there is no obligation to register.
A separate registration may be required for certain additional offers (e.g. workshops, lectures, consultations).

The instructions of the fair and security staff must be followed at all times.
The following are prohibited: carrying dangerous objects, weapons, pyrotechnic articles, alcohol and drugs.
Large pieces of luggage or means of transport (e.g. bicycles, scooters) may not be taken into the fair halls and must be handed in at the cloakrooms. No liability is assumed for deposited items.
Visitors must behave in such a way that neither people nor facilities are endangered, obstructed or damaged.
In the event of emergencies and evacuation orders, the marked escape routes must be used immediately.
The organizer reserves the right to order special measures to protect health (e.g. in the event of pandemics) or to cancel the fair.

For groups of students, the supervisory duty lies with the accompanying teachers or accompanying persons during the entire stay.
For individual minor visitors, the supervisory duty lies with the legal guardians.

Photo, film and sound recordings may be taken at the fair by SoWi-Holding GmbH, partners or media companies commissioned by them.
By entering the fairgrounds, visitors consent to the free use of these recordings for documentation, information and public relations purposes (website, social media, print media).
Visitors who do not agree to this must inform the photographer/film team or the fair management on site.
Own recordings by visitors are permitted exclusively for private use. Publication for commercial purposes is not permitted.

The aim of the career & competence/ master lounge is to bring Young Professionals, graduates and students at the university location of Tyrol into contact with interesting future employers and to provide information about master’s degree programs and postgraduate study opportunities.

The fair is primarily aimed at students, job seekers, people over 18 interested in careers.
Younger visitors under the age of 14 may only enter the fair when accompanied by an adult supervisor.
