Booth Construction/ Fair Booth

The standard booth does not have a carpet. This must be requested separately for a fee when ordering.

Booth Construction Itself

The booth construction is carried out with 2.5m high aluminum uprights, as well as aluminum frames and 6mm homogeneous panels drawn into them as wall elements. The uprights and frames must not be nailed, screwed, painted or glued. Overpainting the homogeneous panels, wallpapering with wallpaper that can no longer be removed, and gluing with carpet adhesive tapes is not permitted, otherwise the costs incurred will be charged. The labeling of the homogeneous panels with non-piercing decoration pens is permitted, as is wallpapering with removable wallpaper, but the decoration pens and wallpaper must be removed immediately after the end of the event, otherwise the additional costs will be charged.

Only fire-police-approved materials may be used as booth decoration. A fire safety certificate must be brought for own carpets and textile decoration, which can be presented if required.

When using audiovisual equipment (televisions, monitors, projectors, etc.), the exhibitor must ensure that it does not disturb neighboring exhibitors. Own boxes, announcements with microphones or music are not permitted.

Are the Fair Walls Magnetic?

No, the walls are not magnetic.

Is it Allowed to Pin, Glue or Attach Something to the Fair Wall?

Yes, banners, posters, etc. may be attached to the fair wall, but must be removed without residue at the end of the fair. Normal Tixo or poster glue (not the ones with foam, but the transparent ones) works best for this. What always causes problems are opaque, double-sided adhesive tapes.

We Would like a Corner or Head Booth

Please specify this in the order, then we will take this into account when planning the booth – if possible, we will implement it in this way.

Please Do not Place the Power Outlet in the Middle of the Booth, but at the Back

The power supply is via the floor and is only moderately flexible. However, the power connection is laid with extension cables or multiple distributors in the rear corner of the booth.

How many Sockets/Power Connections are there at the Booth?

One socket is guaranteed at the booth. In some cases, it may also be that a 3-way plug is also located at the booth due to the power cable routing.

If you definitely need a 3-way multiple distributor, this could be ordered during registration or can now be reordered (€ 11 plus 20% VAT).

How Big are the Tables and Desk?

Unfortunately, we cannot specify the exact sizes of the table and desk, as this changes slightly from year to year. In the appendix you can see photos of the standard stand standing table and desk variants. There you can see the complete equipment.

The name tags will be on the booth on the morning of the educational fair. In principle, however, accreditation is not absolutely necessary, neither during setup or dismantling nor on the educational fair day itself.

Fair Restaurant & Food Vouchers

The fair caterer DoNs Catering Innsbruck GmbH will operate a restaurant in Hall B.0 during the fair. There you can consume lunch & co. at your own expense. There is also the possibility for consumption lists or meal vouchers. Please contact Don directly for this:

Are there any Documents Again this Year that We Can Use to Promote our Participation?

Yes, you can find this on our press page under Downloads -> best-innsbruck.at/presse/

Tips for a Sustainable Fair Appearance

We would like to encourage our exhibitors to have a sustainable fair appearance. By choosing environmentally friendly materials, a sustainable stand design and avoiding waste where possible, we can work together to contribute to an ecologically responsible event and promote a green future.

  • Please reduce printed materials. The most resource-saving and cost-effective way is to provide documents electronically or only on request. If print versions are desired, please use recycled paper and commission local, environmentally certified printing companies.
  • New banners that cannot be avoided can also be designed in such a way that they can be used for many years. Please pay attention to PVC-free materials.
  • Some giveaways end up directly in the trash. The use of durable promotional gifts can counteract this and often even have a greater impact. You also do something good for the environment by producing regionally or, for example, purchasing products from a non-profit organization.
  • There have also been some developments in the area of sustainable trade fair stands. You can find more information HERE.

Can We Run a Competition at the Booth?

Basically, that’s fine for us – as long as:

  • everything is carried out correctly in terms of data protection
  • no contract/purchase is associated with it in any way
  • no objects can be won directly on site that could endanger the orderly course of the educational fair (safety vests, megaphones, etc.) or physical integrity (pocket fairs, alcohol, etc.)

Can We get Previous Exhibitor Lists?

Attached you will find the exhibitor list from the last BeSt Innsbruck (2022). APPENDIX!

When Do most Visitors Come?

Experience has shown that the visitors on Wednesday and Thursday are mainly school classes. On Friday morning we also have many school classes and the parents usually come in the afternoon. Peak times are usually in the morning between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

We Know the BeSt as a Fair with a Strong Focus on Apprenticeship Training on the Ground Floor and a Focus on Studies on the Upper Floor. Is this Still the Case?

Basically, we don’t necessarily have specific focuses in terms of the offer (apprenticeship or studies), but rather the decision-making for young people/young adults at a certain age is in the foreground.

This means that approximately half of the visitors are between 14 and 16 years old and would like to find out about schools, apprenticeships and co. Approximately the other half of the visitors are between 17 and 19 years old and would like to see what they can do after graduating from high school – career entry, studies, year abroad, further training, etc.

Accordingly, we also don’t have an area “apprenticeship”, but “professional worlds”. And I know, for example, from some companies that they are also particularly looking for HTL graduates and are therefore at the BeSt.

So no, there is no focus on “career starters after Matura/apprenticeship”, but of course many students come to the fair who are about to graduate from high school, have already graduated or are looking for an apprenticeship.

Is it Possible to Rent a TV Including a Stand on Site?

We can recommend the following service provider (a TV cannot be rented directly from the educational fair):

MEGASOUND – DER VERLEIH
Alexander Holzknecht e.U.
Innrain 14p
A-6020 Innsbruck
+43 (0)512 / 58 22 22

www.megasound.at
info@megasound.at

Megasound can provide screens from 50″ to 98″ as well as LED walls and projectors. Please clarify all technical matters regarding TV directly with the service provider.

Music at the Booth

That’s okay. But as usual, please keep the volume down so that the surrounding booths are not disturbed during their conversations. If there is an objection from our team on site or another exhibitor, please adhere to it accordingly.

Can a Car be Placed?

In principle, it is possible to place the car at the booth itself. It is only necessary to book a correspondingly large booth and clarify in advance whether access is possible due to the size.

The following requirements apply to vehicles:

  • The vehicle should already be placed in the hall on Monday (the day before the set-up day) – please arrange this in good time
  • No tire shine spray may be used in the halls (the floor becomes dangerously slippery)
  • The car must have as little fuel as possible
  • E-cars without problems and further preparations.

Placements in the entrance area are possible with sponsor or partner packages.

Storage Options for Exhibitors on Site

In Hall B.0 (ground floor): L01 and L02 (https://best-innsbruck.at/messebesuch/hallenplan/)
In Hall B.1 (upper floor): L03 (https://best-innsbruck.at/messebesuch/hallenplan/)

Please bring it there yourself or ask our team on site where the storage area for exhibitors is. The materials/containers/boxes/pallets etc. to be stored must only be clearly labeled so that no chaos arises.
The warehouse is not locked and is not guarded, but is generally not accessible to visitors.

Is there a Compressed Air Connection?

The hall does not have any compressed air connections or lines. This would only be possible with your own compressor – although this would not be possible at the booth due to the high volume, but only in the outdoor area.

Can a WLAN Code be Used with Multiple Devices Simultaneously on one Day?

Only 1 device can be logged into the network at the same time with one code. This means that if another device dials in the next day, that’s no problem.

Program

Participation in the Stage Program

As an exhibitor, you have the opportunity to participate in the stage program as a discussant free of charge. The topics of the discussion rounds are specified by us, which we believe will generate the most interest among our target group.
You can volunteer for one of the topics and participate.
We would also be happy to add you to our list of interested parties and if you have an exciting topic, please send it to info@sowiholding.at. The actual registration takes place via the following online form.

Stage program registration: https://sowiholding.at/best-innsbruck-programm-anmeldung/

Workshop participations

Since 2022, there has been a workshop area at the BeSt. This can be used by you to present yourself with an exciting “hands-on” topic and to interact with the participants in an interactive way. A separate area is provided for this. The workshops can each last up to 30 minutes and should be aimed at a group size of 20-30 participants. The workshops are free of charge, but will be checked. You can request a slot via the link below. The first come, first served principle applies.

Workshop registration: https://sowiholding.at/best-innsbruck-programm-anmeldung/

Exhibitor Evening

The exhibitor evening takes place at the end of the first fair day following the fair from 5:30 p.m. to max. 9:00 p.m. in the fair restaurant. This is a get-together/dinner for the exhibitors of the BeSt. Please register in advance via the data collection form.

An employee of ours will explain to you how to get to the fair restaurant on the fair day, because it is easier to explain on site.

Information about the exhibitor evening will follow shortly by e-mail to all exhibitors.

The exhibitor is responsible for insuring the exhibits.

Security

The educational fair hall is guarded by agents of the educational fair organization without liability for loss or damage to the exhibitor’s exhibits. Stand security and supervision during daily opening hours are generally the responsibility of the exhibitor, including during setup and dismantling. At night, valuable, easily removable objects must be locked away. The exhibitor must arrange for additional stand security at his own expense.

Is there a Maximum Number of People who Can be Present at or Supervise each Booth?

No, there is no upper limit, but the number must be proportionate to the size of the beach. This means, for example, that advice from the stand staff may only be given at the stand itself, but not in front of the stand or in the aisle.

BeSt Team

BeSt employees are available at the fair for all questions. Our fair crew is happy to help with setup/dismantling (short email to: info@sowiholding.at).
