Short Profile of the SoWi-Holding

1. Non-profit Association

Founded (on the initiative of Univ. Prof. Dr. Stephan Laske and Univ. Prof. Dr. Hans Mühlbacher) by the most important institutes of the SoWi at the University of Innsbruck

Professional interface between scientific research and economic practice, as well as further qualification of students for the professional world

In 2022, the SoWi-Holding association was further developed into the SoWi-Holding GmbH.

Our initiatives for the dialogue between scientific research and economic practice

For years, various institutions at the former Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck have been offering students numerous additional qualification opportunities that go far beyond ordinary studies. For the partners in the business community, these institutions – summarized in the SoWi-Holding – offer a range of different initiatives that take into account the practice/theory – or business/university dialogue:

The CAREER Lab of SoWi-Holding complements our previous activities in the field of career information, orientation, and positioning.

PINN

Companies or organizations of various sizes, industries, and locations take on a kind of sponsorship role over a defined period.

EUROMOBIL

EUROMOBIL is a forum for students, companies and university lecturers who are interested in above-average performance.
